Inside was a dishcloth for me to keep, knit with some great striping cotton (which I can't find anywhere near me, argh!), a ball of green cotton, some soaps, and the pattern. I grabbed my needles, and set to work.

Several hours later, I had finished the pattern. It was awesome--I finished it quickly, and if I took it down to the Post Office, I'd be able to claim same day turn around!
I had whipped up some Mexican Wedding Cookies the night before (in anticipation) and had my ball of cotton ready to go, so I tossed it all in the box.

Great work! I expect to get the Team Scrubbing Stars box sometime next week -- it's two people away from me right now. Same day turnaround is probably impossible for me since my mail doesn't arrive until 4 or 5 pm, but thanks to my newly discovered speed knitting skillz, I am confident I'll be able to finish it in a night for early takeoff the next morning.
I don't know if I can technically claim it, but I did drop it off at the 24-hour automated thingy on the same day. I think it counts, right?
Well color me out of the loop. I had no idea this was going on this year. Probably best what with Ravelympics and all...
